The formal opening of Blenheim’s Talbot Trail Place took place this past weekend, with a barbeque, music and ribbon cutting.
The centerpiece of the $2.5 million project is a multi-coloured fountain.
The Blenheim Rotary Club, with help from the Ridge Landfill Community Trust, was the driving force behind the project that was completed without any public funds.
The park includes a splash pad, tourist centre, recreation centre, pavilion with stage.
