Thieves had a busy weekend

It was a weekend of thefts in Chatham-Kent.

Sometime between March 28 at 9 p.m. and March 29 at 9 a.m., someone stole a 2013 black Ford F-150 pickup from the CBD parking lot on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.

The truck was last seen with license plates 875 9YV. It has the letters “STX” on both sides of the box.

Sometime over the weekend, someone rummaged through a black GMC Sierra pickup truck on Riverview Drive in Chatham.

The thieves stole the tailgate, box cover, hubcaps, head rests with built-in DVD players and electronics, worth an estimated $8,000.

At some point over the past week, someone stole a utility trailer in Ridgetown. The Interstate white utility trailer went missing from a shop on Marsh Street.

The trailer last had Ontario plates P145 541.

It contained four portable fluorescent signs with computer graphics valued at $60,000.
