Pink will be the colour of the night Sunday when the Chatham Junior Maroons take on the Lambton Shores Predators at Memorial Arena in their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night.

The Maroons will wear special pink game jerseys courtesy of the Szekesy family and Hogan Printing as a tribute to breast cancer survivors.

Sweaters will be autographed by the player wearing that jersey and then auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Breast Buddies.

Mike Wonnacott of Mike’s Signs and Graphics has donated two special items to be raffled Sunday night – a pink goalie mask autographed by the Maroons and a pink hockey stick also autographed by the Maroons.

A number of pink souvenir items will be given out as an incentive for fans to arrive early for the 7 p.m.
